Contractor Data API — Free Counts, Previews and Pricing
Free contractor data API: exact dataset counts, masked previews, and pricing under /api/v1/. OpenAPI, llms.txt, and llms-full.txt for agents. Paid retrieval is x402 TESTNET ONLY (Base Sepolia); mainnet settlement is not enabled. Human Stripe checkout is unchanged.
Free API discovery — counts, previews, pricing
Every free endpoint below returns JSON with exact dataset counts, masked previews, and current pricing. No authentication and no payment is required for discovery.

Public browser-safe resources
The marketplace search asset and masked previews expose aggregate availability only. A limited teaser is available at /api/v1/texas-trades-teaser.json. It does not contain paid contact records.

Free agent discovery endpoints
Machine-readable dataset discovery is available under /api/v1/: coverage, states, trades, cities, datasets, product detail, and masked previews. Free endpoints expose metadata only and never paid contact values.
Paid agent retrieval
Automated paid retrieval uses an x402 commerce rail. x402 paid retrieval is TESTNET ONLY — network: Base Sepolia (eip155:84532). An unpaid request receives an HTTP 402 Payment-Required challenge, which agents may inspect without making any payment. Mainnet settlement is NOT enabled. Human purchase through the existing Stripe checkout remains the supported path and is unchanged.
Security
Paid records, download tokens, entitlements, customer data, and secrets are not published in discovery files.
