A bounded workflow for machine-readable contractor dataset discovery, previews, provenance, and purchasing.
Discovery before payment
Start with /api/v1/coverage, then filter datasets by state, trade, or city. Record API version, product identifier, count, price, and verification date before reviewing a masked preview.
Bound the agent
- Keep discovery separate from financial authorization.
- Require explicit approval for the exact product and price.
- Validate returned scope before importing.
- Preserve provenance and never claim market completeness.
Current production boundary
Free discovery and OpenAPI documentation are available. TradeDataHub x402 work is testnet-only on Base Sepolia; mainnet settlement is not enabled. Human Stripe checkout remains the supported production purchasing path.

Put AI-agent workflows on live contractor data
Use free discovery to find a product_id, then retrieve paid contractor records with a Bearer API key. API Starter is $39/month for 5,000 row credits; API Agency is $99/month for 25,000 row credits. One credit equals one contractor row returned.
The separate x402 rail remains Base Sepolia testnet only; production subscription access uses Bearer authentication.
